Winner: Best Sound for Documentary at ASSG Awards 2025
The 29th Annual Australian Screen Sound Guild (ASSG) Awards were held on November 29th, 2025, with YURLU | COUNTRY winning Best Sound for a Documentary.
We thank and celebrate Sam Hayward MPSE for this incredible win. Sam is a master Sound Designer, who created our immersive sound world and brought together an amazing, dedicated crew of sound editors for the film. Thank you to all involved in creating the sound waves of this film, including Cameron Grant, Stuart Melvey, Adam Roberts, Ash Charlton ASSG, Brett Stayt, Richard Hubbard, Tom Bannigan, Helena Czajka, Fran Forbes and Lauren Ligovich.
